Acts 4:12

"There is salvation in no one else! God has given no other name under heaven by which we must be saved."

It has become increasingly complex to manage all of my online accounts in regards to passwords. Where there are payment issues, I have really diversified what the passwords are so that one security leak does not become a river of ruin. But then it becomes an issue of needing to store all of those passwords in external realities which are most definitely not my brain. So, I have taken major evasionary steps to obscure access to such information.

Doubt the sin nature? Don't. Industrious and wicked individuals and entities have no conscience in draining your accounts to zilch. Some evil in the world is done with an attempt to rationalize it as a necessary sacrifice to a greater good. I have to think abortion is at the top of that list. Keeping an unprepared women from motherhood, so that she still has choices, is that type of thinking. I really doubt Pro-Choice people really think abortion is good per se, just the lesser of two not so good options. I understand the argument but don't subscribe to it. There are those madmen and madwomen who posit abortion is no big deal.  Yet, that is rather Hitlerian. To be an equal opportunity offender, Neo-Cons also justify war in this manner. Wrong war in the womb and outside of it.  

But, stealing from people electronically--not the uber-rich but just common folk--would seem hard to rationalize in my book. This is not some Robin Hood deal as the thieves are distributing wealth to the needy peasants but into their own coffers. This is just plain old theft. In a highly complex and fallen world, passwords provide a buffer between those with bad intent and those just trying to live life, pay their bills, raise their kids, etc. It is a rather thin line of security, considering what lies on the other side of the fence. Someone who gets your Debit Card and Pin can strip you financially in minutes. Your money tree, no leaves.

Jesus is the one name under heaven which gives ultimate security and safety from sin, inward and outward. In a world of passwords and passing-away gods...

White Shoes, White Stones

Rev 2:17 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith to the churches. Going Rogue: Dare, Risk, Dream

I picked up a bumper sticker at a Pub recently from the Rogue Brewery . On it there are the words: DARE, RISK, DREAM. Typically, the word Rogue is a negative term. I will let you decide if Sarah Palin and her book has made the word less or more so. Initially, I taped the bumper sticker to my computer lap top with the backing still on it in case I wanted to remove it. Just a second ago, I committed fully, and pulled the backing off and affixed it to my Dell. No turning back. Is that not an illustration of how to accomplish great things? We have to stick and commit. If we go taping ourselves to the backs of things, it leads to easier removal but also to tepid efforts. Now, if I take this bumper sticker off the back of my lap top it is going to be a mess...I am all in. Consequences be damned.
